THE FOUNDERS OF HOUSE OF DESTINY

Learn about the Founders of House of Destiny, Kim and Jane Clement, with this interactive timeline featuring stories and photos from their lives.

January 2012

In order to accommodate an ever-increasing congregation as well as to expand Kim’s musical expression, Kim moved the location of his studio to new larger premises in Camarillo, CA. The new House of Destiny facility also incorporated all the latest technical advancements to improve streaming capability and quality. It was during this period that Kim’s broadcasts grew the most rapidly, with viewers from over a hundred different countries joining in to watch each Wednesday and Saturday. Many great prophetic words came forth during this period that have come to pass, and many more that are still to come forth. The growth in support for Kim’s “Den” and the House of Destiny allowed Kim and Jane to support many wonderful causes and organizations around the world. Countless lives were saved and changed as a result of this. Their passion was not only for the children and orphans of the world, but also for Israel, her people and her protection. Kim, along with thousands of loyal supporters from around the world who shared in Kim’s captivating love for Israel, purchased bomb shelters, provided warm clothing to the Israeli soldiers, helped Holocaust survivors, the poor and disabled alike. Many Jews were financed to make the journey back to Israel and make it their home from countries all over the world, where they faced persecution or threats to their lives.

May 2013

In May of 2013, Kim and Jane travelled to China to bring home their third adopted special needs child, Kimberlyn.

September 2013

Matt Young was abandoned at two years old. Matt was born with an overgrowth syndrome that developed on the right side of his face. Kim and Jane were drawn to Matt as his plight was so severe and he needed urgent medical attention, which was not available in China. After many months of trying to get help and running into many obstacles , Kim and Jane decided to adopt Matt so that he could receive the life-saving medical surgeries he so desperately needed in the USA.

March 2015

Prior to Kim falling ill, Kim and Jane had agreed to adopt their fifth child, Xiu-Xiu. Although Kim and Jane’s situation changed drastically once Kim fell ill, they were both steadfast in their commitment to bringing Xiu-Xiu home from China. In March of 2016, Jane travelled alone to China to complete the adoption.

September 2015

After suffering a series of severe and debilitating brain bleeds, starting on September 7th, 2015, Kim was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor. Although this was successfully removed, the cancer had already metastasized to his lungs. After a long and brave battle, with Jane and his children by his side, Kim succumbed to his illness on November 23rd, 2016.

His example to us all was to adhere to God’s Word, dream big, enjoy the life God gave us, care for and comfort others, give generously, have optimism for our futures no matter what others say, and how we too can hear the voice of God. His legacy lives on in our lives, and we all are responsible to carry the vision forward. He will forever be missed, but never forgotten!
